DIRECT DRIVE TUBE FANS
OVERVIEW
Vent-Axia axial fans are based on an integrated impeller and internal rotor motor design which produces a very compact unit. Together with the slim outer casing, the complete fan is both lightweight and shorter than most competitive products. The casing is constructed from rolled steel plate, electro welded and protected with an industrial, epoxy paint finish.
FEATURES
IMPELLERS
Made from glass filled polyamide for resistance to outdoor conditions and abrasive airflow. Axial tube fan impellers are of a composite construction and are dynamically balanced.
AXIAL MOTORS
Specifically designed and styled for this range of fans. Ball bearings are greased for life and allow the fans to be installed at any angle. Motors are protected against dust and water-jets. They have ribbed aluminum body castings for efficient cooling. Motor insulation is Class ‘F’ (from -40°F to 155°F).
ELECTRICAL
Single phase 120V 60Hz. Capacitor start and run. Terminal box is supplied with all models. All motors are fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P).
TERMINAL BOX
Protected against dust and water jets from any angle allowing outside applications.
ACCESSORIES
MOUNTING FEET
Mild steel fabrication, for simple mounting to suitable surfaces. Set of two feet per fan.
FLANGE AND FLEX CONNECTORS
Consists of two flanges and flexible connections for minimum vibration transmission.
WIRED INLET OR OUTLET GUARD
For direct fixing to either side of the fan using flange fixing holes.
COUPLING FLANGE
Rolled from mild steel. Dimentionally matched to fan flange.
