DARKROOM MODEL OVERVIEW
Specially designed to provide exhaust/intake ventilation in general purpose darkrooms. This range incorporates the latest advances in impeller design and features a unique speed control pack which enables high, medium or low speed to be preset. Vent-Axia Darkroom models consist of a window fan plus protective cowl and darkroom cowl assembly.
The Darkroom model has two cowls, the interior cowl being designed to give light protection. It can be installed in windows, partitions, external walls or roofs. Extended fixing rods for fixing thicknesses up to 14 1 / 2 " are supplied with the unit. Engineered in best quality polymeric materials to work in atmospheres containing normal darkroom chemicals. Provision should be made for adequate air replacement through Vent-Axia non-vision grilles. Most darkrooms need a minimum of ten air changes per hour for comfort and efficiency.
For rooms containing heat producing equipment (eg: print glazers) a higher rate of air change may be desirable Controllers may be used with this model to obtain a choice of three speeds, exhaust/intake and automatic sensor operation.
THE T-SERIES SHUTTER
TX models are supplied complete with an integral automatic louver shutter concealed behind the internal grille. Operates on both intake and exhaust at any angle of mounting. The shutter is electronically controlled by an actuator with a damped action giving quiet operation during opening and closing. The interlocking edges of the shutter blades provide maximum backdraft protection. When used with a T-Series controller, the shutter can be set open with the fan motor switched Off to provide natural ventilation without the security risk of an open window.
TL models do not have a shutter. Suitable for certain ducted applications, room to room systems and where there is a need for ventilation of specialized equipment. The TL model also provides natural ventilation where required when the unit is switched Off.

T-SERIES FEATURES
